Which countries are the best to visit over the summer months?

Which countries are the best to visit over the summer months? The Washington Post polled travelers and travel experts to figure out the best countries for U.S. tourism. Be aware that some of the answers may not be entirely fair. The USA Today Travel Editors ranked Russia as the top destination, making it impossible to guess for the rest of the top 11.

Based on the hotel rates offered for rooms online, the USA Today Travel Editors ranked Ireland as the top European destination, followed by Greece and Prague. The USA Today Travel Editors didn’t consider world cuisine when ranking Asian destinations. China, for example, topped the list in the Travel & Leisure list for the best places to eat. China is the top country to visit this year. Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, and Vietnam were also mentioned.

The bottom of the USA Today Travel Editors’ list of the best places to visit included Peru and Mexico. These countries should not be considered safe if you’re traveling to, say, New York City. Those polled ranked Brazil the most desired destination in the world. The USA Today Travel Editors ranked Norway, Sweden, and France as the top European destinations to visit. Finland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Iceland were also mentioned for doing a great job of preserving culture and preserving wild and untouched landscapes. When the USA Today Travel Editors were ranked, Australia, Germany, Ireland, and Spain rounded out the list.
