Sandra Bullock discusses Louis, baby James on ‘Red Table Talk’

British-American actress Sandra Bullock talks her son Louis (who has his own red action figure ) and the ups and downs of being a mommy on her new Netflix show “Red Table Talk.”

CNN’s Gayle King and her longtime TV partner in crime, CNN International’s Lisa Ling, sat down with Bullock to discuss her new talk show and life as a parent.

The movie star first talked about being a mother to her adopted son Louis with her boyfriend Bryan Randall, whose own relationship with his son Jesse was made public during Jesse’s turbulent years with his father.

Bullock also talked about welcoming her and Ryan Reynolds’ son, James , into the family, having adopted the boy from his mother Allison Mack.

“I have a wonderful son in James ,” Bullock said, and spoke of the loving bond that he has with her son, Louis, who has his own character action figure.

“He’s the goofiest, he’s lovable, he’s best friends with the baby, and I love that we’re all so blessed and everyone plays with the baby,” she said.

“People like to relate to him, he’s playing soccer, he’s not jinxing the group and he’s playing baseball, he’s funny, he’s loving.”

Bullock has also starred in films like “Speed”, “Miss Congeniality” and “The Blind Side”.

Bullock married her husband Jesse James in 2007, but their relationship fell apart after James admitted having an affair with a tattoo model.

He and Bullock later remarried and welcomed their son in 2010 but split again in 2012 after James admitted to having been unfaithful in their relationship.

Bullock also talked about motherhood in a message on her Facebook page last week, which was shared on Facebook.

“While there is no doubt that the world is a brighter place when there are more children living with and around their mothers, they will never be perfect,” she wrote.

“There is no doubt in my mind that with a little bit of love, patience, and understanding, every woman in this world could walk away from her childless years with better self-esteem, more confidence, and less heartache.”

Bullock’s new talk show “Red Table Talk” premieres on June 26 and features her speaking with mothers about the issues that face motherhood including balancing work and motherhood, challenging domestic stereotypes and breaking domestic stereotypes.
