Bollards denies claims that ice rink uses unsafe ice cream

Having just been named as the fifth “best employer” in Britain, Bollards Group says its Chapman’s menu delivers what customers want. But staff have been in contact with HuffPost UK, claiming it’s not up to scratch.

They say they are eager to be able to fly the flag for Chapman’s ice cream but feel the staff are being left in the dark about their health and safety. They also say they are not given an impact assessment on the products they are forced to use.

Bollards has denied all the allegations and says it uses TWF Soles for its Johnson Skating rink.

We’re working with retail software supplier Small Change to develop a full impact assessment of the use of the boards and products for future ice venues.
