Kenny G, best known as one of the biggest names in Latin music and a fashion icon, revealed how playing electric bass set his path to success in his new doc, “Kenny G’s Journey: From Melody to Magic,” airing on Sunday, August 19 on “World of Dance.”
The film features the first documentary in Kenny G’s ever-growing filmography, providing behind-the-scenes insight on the veteran musician’s incredible musical legacy.
The film will also discuss how his success was followed by blowback from critics and his work as an activist. Kenny G talks with Michael Strahan, director of the movie, as well as Master P., whose music Kenny G played during the historical “America The Beautiful” performance at Super Bowl XXV, among others.
