City and Colour’s Dallas Green Cancels Tour Dates Due to Disease

City and Colour, singer Dallas Green’s band, announced on Thursday it was canceling a string of upcoming tour dates in order to focus on his battle with CoV-19.

“I’m not going to give up until I’m completely healthy and 100% normal again,” Green wrote in a statement released to The Boot. “This is gonna take some time and patience. The best treatment against my coven of illnesses is to avoid any of them as much as possible. I hope the fans stay tuned for updates.”

According to the Mayo Clinic , CoV-19 is a respiratory tract infection. Symptoms are similar to those of seasonal allergies, but the typical symptoms of COV-19 are also similar to the following, caused by bacteria or fungi: fever, coughing, coughing up mucus and a runny nose. Green was diagnosed with COV-19 in February and is still battling the disease.

Green’s latest album, Our Love , was released in August 2017, and has just been certified gold by the RIAA.
